Tomás Cirera (Barcelona, ? - ?, 1642?) was a Catalan composer and maestro de capilla. He was master of chapel of the Basilica of the Holy Cair and Pastor of Barcelona (1628-1630) and of the Cathedral of Girona (1630-1642). On October 15, 1630, once the music chapel of the Cathedral of Girona was structured, the chapter called for oppositions to fill the vacancy of the cathedral magisterium. The jury was formed by Jaume Coll, organist of the Countess's Palace of Barcelona, Lluís Méndez, organist of the Cathedral of Girona and Llorenç Cruell, benefited from the same cathedral. Cirera was the only opponent and on October 17, 1630, he was appointed master of chapel - the first to occupy the position by opposition -, a position he held until 1642, probably the year of his death. Jaime Vidal succeeded him. In 1633, during his stay at the Girona headquarters, he was part of the jury of some oppositions, along with Benedicto Vila, organist of the Cathedral of Barcelona, and Joan Gayola, beneficiary singer of the chapel of Girona, to cover the place of organist of the cathedral. On October 3, 1636, he was admonished by the chapter for neglecting his obligations: neglecting the instruction of his students and not attending the daily singing class to which he was obliged.
