DeWitYourself is the latest moniker of musician, guitarist and songwriter Niels de Wit from Hoorn, The Netherlands. True to his punk spirit and DIY ethic, De Wit played in many short-lived and slightly-longer-lived punk and rock bands between 1979 and 2016, including Peanut Crisp, Gepøpel, The Vernon Walters, Electric Tears and (perhaps his best known stint) the early 'Hoorn incarnation' of Johan. For the eponymous DeWitYourself début LP (2019) he picked his personal favourites rom well over 35 years of band experience and re-recorded them punk-style.
