De Niemanders are Rocco Ostermann and Wout Kemkens, two Dutch rockers and songwriters of Shaking Godspeed and Donnerwetter fame. They both hail from the Achterhoek region in the eastern Netherlands. For their self-titled début album, De Niemanders (2020), they visited Dutch jails, talked to the inmates, wrote with them and played music with them, a unique collaboration between 'the outside' and 'the inside'. It is an album about "the outcasts, their lives and the key moments in their lives, when they made the wrong choice."
