Bartolomé de Quevedo was a Renaissance composer from León who died on August 31, 1569. He was the chapel master of Toledo with strong opposition to Rodrigo Ordóñez , the opposition was carried out on December 4, 1553 winning Quevedo by 23 votes to 14 that only Ordóñez won. In this way he occupied the place he had left vacant when Cristóbal de Morales died , he also occupied it until his death.
