Album
The first album "Learning To Play" (or The White Album) was composed and largerly recorded in 2001. However, due to various reasons, which are of little interest to a listener, it was not until the very beginning of 2004, that it was completely mixed and mastered, and the master CD saw the light of the day finally. The name of the album is an attempt to be somehow self-critical, with "learning" meaning mostly "not being able to do it well now" - sort of disclaimer, you know... So the sound and overall production level of the album represents abilities and skills, which the author possessed at that time. The other thing is a host of influences, which are represented in the music. This can be clearly seen in attempts to cover or reinterpret some of the favourite songs (though in not very recognizable manner). Also there are some diverse stylistic variations, ranging from some bluesy stuff to almost heavy metal numbers. Overall, the album may seem not very monolitic in the way of style and sound, but on the other hand, maybe it helps not to bore listener to death... Happy listening!
