Studio Jam With Myself is one of the first "jams", where the approach of recording several musical pieces with virtually the same instrument combination was ever tried out. This jam was an attempt to create heavy sound by having four guitars playing with two different sounds dispersed in the mix. The sound (unlike consequent Heavy Metal Jam and Heavy Metal Live) is somehow similar to the most part of the album, as the same effects processor was used.
