"Slaughterhouse" is the second album, which was released in 2004 almost simultaneously with "Learning To Play". It was recorded during studio sessions in 2003-2004 and mostly contains different instrumental versions of tracks, featured on the first album, as well as few new tracks and a load of additional covers. The main distinctive sessions are marked as Pseudolive sessions, Chamber sessions and Studio Jam 2, accordingly. Chamber sessions were an attempt to re-record some of the original songs in a format, somehow resembling the live performance, with the constant "line-up" of instruments, mix and sound. The arrangements here seem to be rather minimalistic - only guitar, organ, bass and drums, wrapped around in some strange-sounding reverberation, which makes them sound like in a sort of empty chamber (hence the name) - lonely and unconfidently. Pseudolive sessions were to follow the same goal, but with more "stadium hard rock" approach, which mostly influenced the mix and the sound of "participants". The "line-up" used here is as follows: drums, bass, organ (in some tracks), rhythm guitar and solo guitar (though occasionally they change places). Also the presented material is broadened a little with the inclusion of few covers and "remarkable" guitar solo section. Studio Jam 2 is a further development of the Pseudolive sessions approach, combined with some reminiscents of the Studio Jam pieces from the first album.
