the story of no more lund actually starts in 1996 in warendorf, germany, when florian stockmann (guitar) and julius reimer (nothing up to then) decide to form a band and start producing highspeed versions of weezer songs using a broke cassette recorder (those of you who don't know what that is visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassette_recorder). a year later, the band was completed by tobias mörth (guitar) and jan philipp mehlich (drums), julius started singing and playing the bass and by divine intervention, they were given the name "no more lund". in 1999, they recorded their first demo album "untoasted" including "samoan samp", "plus", "all broken", "leave" (their first ballad), "one of them", "seilbahn" (the first song of a new style), "hero", "enough of you", "holidays in hell" and "set myself on fire". soon, julian walleck joined the band to play the bass (better than julius). during the following years, no more lund created songs such as "echoes of the hopeless", "the talons of society", "child of greed", "while the zombies keep guard (everything is...)", "walking with the parade", "daisy" (their second ballad), "the depth", "coma sweet", "in the state of emergency", "sundari", "the distance from recovery", "killer kids", "black spectre" and julian's adaptation of franz schubert's "der leiermann (drüben hinterm dorfe)". in 2002, florian left the band to study forestry. in 2005, no more lund recorded an untitled ep containing their latest songs "patterns of the sun
