The band formed in 2003 in Los Angeles, California. All were searching to fill a void and find a sound & direction that drew from their influences & experiences. The four found that they each share the same influences from their post-punk/new wave heroes, such as Echo & The Bunnymen, U2, Simple Minds, The Psychedelic Furs, The Chameleons UK, & Joy Division to name a few. They quickly became a member of the Los Angeles post-punk & new wave scene. World Wide Spies brings strong beats, rhythms, melodic hooks, and a triumphant energy to their music.
