The Retrosexuals formed in 2004 by brothers Neck Doppler and The Render General. Nina Nina joined later that year as the band's keyboardist. They are a a tragi-funk electrorock trio from Glasgow, Scotland who specialise in collapsible grooves consisting of distorted low-end friction, angular guitar funk and strangulated synth lines producing a sweating combination of electronewwavediscorock, or as it is increasingly known, contortopop. Their first demo/single, Telephone/With You was released in 2005 on 3" mini cd and red 7" vinyl limited to 500 copies, and found its way onto many DJ playlists around the world. The Retrosexuals have recently release their second EP - 'Blood In Your Eyes', available as download and 3" mini cd, and has recently been remixed by The Nanobots. The band toured Europe in 2006, covering 9 cities in 12 days around Germany, Netherlands, and France. Here's what they've been saying so far...
