While Seagulls Dive is the project of the swiss-based singer-songwriter Dominik Peter, who connects minimalistic american folk music with stories about relationships, places or feelings - often in an unemotinal way. He's influenced by acts like Bright Eyes, Smog, Will Oldham, Jandek, Jason Molina and many others. His other musical side is completely different. In "You Are Still" or "Apart", he mixes electro indie pop with post rock elements. After his debut album "I Wanna Be Raised I Wanna Be Praised", the EP "You Are Still" and the cover album "Homage", he's working now on a new album, which will be released in summer 2008.
