One of the finest examples of Leeds' highly successful music scene, 4 Letter Holiday produce honest and hard working music providing a contemporary twist to a retro feel. As comfortable on the local circuit as treading the festival boards 4LH are essentially a live band and that’s where they are in their full glory. Each member is a genuine talent. After establishing themselves as local favourites, airtime soon followed on several BBC stations including Radio One. This is no mean feat considering the band's refusal to betray their roots and follow a more commercial path, something that seems to connect the band with their loyal fan base. Their debut album 'Contentment Is Happy Boredom' is out now on all major download sites such as iTunes, Napster and Emusic through the Ivolv Digital label. The record is packed with one great song after another with a refreshing emphasis on making the whole better than the sum of the parts, just as a good album should be.
