Known to many in The Netherlands as a TV presenter, director and popular YouTuber, Véras Fawaz also made his début as a solo musician and singer-songwriter in 2018. With an undercurrent of slow lo-fi beats, his songs are poetic and fragile, mostly addressing personal issues such as, for instance, his relationship with his Islamic father and the tragic death of his younger brother. Véras has released a steady stream of singles, plus a short album (Ali, 2018) and an EP ( Destructie).
