www.tugana.de Tugana are a five piece alternative rock band from Gestorf ,Hannover area, Germany. Founded in 2006, the band is writing and creating their own material. Tugana are Alan Kitching ( voice, guitar), Sven Gülzow (guitar, bass), Jan Jeske (guitar) and Lars Tolkemit (bass) from Gestorf, as well as Philipp Albrink (keyboard) und Henrik Heuer (drums) from Pattensen near Hannover. Everything began with regularly meetings of Sven and Alan. Together they jammed on their guitars and wrote the first songs. Alan and Sven were also members of the “P-Town” schoolband where they met Henrik and Philip. Henrik Philipp and Jan joined the group and so in 2006 the band was complete. The name did not have a special meaning but was found by misreading a auto brand: Laguna...Lugana. From this the band name „Tugana“ was derived. Idols are other Rock, Pop Rock and Alternative Rock bands like „Puddle of Mud“ or„Nirvana“, but also Hardrock- and Metalacts like „Metalica“. All songs are completely self made.
