Formed in late 2011. Three Points of Madness is a three piece Rock/Blues band based in Newport Rhode Island. The band was formed by guitarist/vocalist George Petrus a 10 year vet of the local music scene in New England. George brings his "Doors" like voice and searing lead guitar and bares his soul. Father and son team John Moffa on Drums and Morgan Moffa on Bass bash out a rythem section reminicent of Cream and Pink Floyd. We have been creating different layers and atmospheres for the songs. The music is moody and can whisk you away to a surreal landscape of love, pain, and madness.The band is currently recording their debut and taking the music out to venues across New England.
