Artist
One of numerous trad-based folk groups on the North-West England folk circuit in the late 1960s, The MacDonald Folk Group ran their own folk club at the Bate Hall Hotel in Macclesfield. With a line-up of Paula Cooper, Gordon MacDonald, Bob Siddall and Brian Murray, they recorded the album Take One (1968), which has the distinction of being the first release on the highly collectable Folk Heritage record label.
