Born in the tiny hamlet of Lilley, Berkshire, England, UK, on 11th April 1951. I Started writing songs in my mid teens before I could even play an instrument. Over the years I have performed in Bands and Duo's and quite a bit as a Solo Artist. My influences are many and varied from The Beatles (who'm I saw live when I was 13) to artists like Neil Young - Bob Dylan - John Maryn - Van Morrison - Joanie Mitchell - my favourite band of all time has to be - FREE - Simon Kirk drums - Paul Kossoff guitar - Andy Fraser bass and co songwriter - Paul Rodgers vocals and co songwriter. This band was brilliant live and I still love them. Blue Blue River is a selection of songs made from a batch of material recorded, prior to the acquisition of a digital multitrack recorder, using various types of recording equipment, a mixture of both analogue and digital machines (cassette deck, four track reel to reel, mini disc, DAT recorder, stand alone audio CD recorder) I really hope that you enjoy the Album.
