about

“Quirky” is the word that is frequently used by critics and radio folks to describe “that Martian-Acres sound.” At the center of Martian Acres is the songwriting and performing duo, Bob Story (producer, guitar, bass, programer, singer, songwriter) and Dennis Wanebo (singer, songwriter). Over the past ten years, Bob and Dennis have written and produced three Martian Acres albums, Middle of the Night, Waltz to War and III. And, lets not forget Dennis's solo CD's, The Stranger and Other Apparitions and Running on Gravity. With beautiful artwork and music these are must owns! Along the way, Bob and Dennis have received: several John Lennon International Songwriting Awards; first place winner (acoustic category) in the national OurStage competition; strong reviews; placement of Martian Acres songs in film as well as countless radio playlists, from France to Australia . . . and all points in between. The common thread among all of their music is that is was fun to produce. Their song list runs seamlessly from blues to country to rock to gospel, and all points in between.
