Suggestions is a metalcore band originating from Osaka, Japan. The band commenced its activities in 2016, marking their debut with the release of the EP "Confine Your Tongue" on April 8. The founding lineup included vocalist Niik, guitarists Owen Enfield and Kei, bassist J.Kato, and drummer Mariko. Over time, Kei, J.Kato, and Mariko departed from the group. Currently, Suggestions consists of vocalist Niik, guitarist Owen Enfield, bassist Kame, and drummer Shibo. The band is actively in search of a second guitarist. Their debut single "DICTATOR / SERPENT" was revealed on April 30, 2018. With an emotive, cinematic sonic landscape that the band describes as "depressive groovy metalcore" influenced by horror cinema, coupled with intense live performances, the band has shared stages with international acts like After The Burial, I Declare War and Loathe. In 2019, Suggestions embarked on a successful headlining tour alongside Australia's Alpha Wolf. On November 4, 2019, the band's first independent project took place at Shinsaibashi Hokage, a sold-out event marking a significant achievement for the band. Their debut album, "Another Heaven, Our Catharsis," was unveiled on November 30, 2019. In response to the pandemic, Suggestions temporarily suspended organized shows, split tours, and the release of new songs. On January 30, 2021, the band released their sophomore single, a split titled "Feed Maggots Until We Die," in collaboration with Falling Asleep. Subsequently, on March 12
