Manuel del Pilar was born in Aliaga (Teruel) in 1716 and died in Guadalupe in 1794. He took the habit around 1758 and became a chapel master in the cathedral of Zamora, before arriving in Guadalupe. The archive preserves numerous musical works with careful and delicate texts, all in handwritten papers.
