First of all, Killing a Lion is a modern, alternative, experimental metal band from germany/ NRW. K.a.L. was founded in late 2013 as a new band-project of Christian Surkamp (:NEW DAMAGE). Other members are Jörg Imhof (SPOILER) on vocals and Peter Höttges (:NEW DAMAGE) on bass. Currently they are producing Songs for their first releases. A full album is scheduled for next year. K.a.l is still a studio project. In future, that is to change!!! Therefore, the band is looking for a groovy and tight drummer for later live shows. The band wouldn´t like to be limited by only one genre. Therefore they are not afraid of using elements of other styles of music. Groovy metal parts meet freaky-experimental sounds, topped with catchy and powerful vocal melodies. Call it crossover or something like that.
