Redlake Circus was born in London, England, where Le Sxantanas met Luis Iriarte but it was not until February 2008 when in Playa del Carmen,Mexico they met Erik Ruy and formed REDLAKE CIRCUS. In mid 2008, the Band met Allan Ahearne, well known Events Producer, who invited them to perform in New York City, along with Ray West. Redlake Circus released their first album ”Ouroboros” in August 2011. It was mixed by Matt Bayles, who also worked with Mastodon, Pearl Jam and Russian Circles - the Album received excelent reviews. After touring a lot in South America, the band decided to move to Europe. At this point, bass player Louis could't go along and left the band in 2012. The german musician Ben Schmersow, also called "Sohno", jumped in, and a new creative era was initiated. Currently, the band works on a new Album.
