Artist
Jason Rule is a "jack of many trades," as they say. His solo work consists mainly of acoustic/folk songs, however he is also the frontman of Two Humans , a central connecticut band which, as of yet, avoids any sort of genre classification (but is best described as "eclectic folk-punk.) In addition to these projects, he also plays drums for Driveway Intruder , a Connecticut pop-punk band, and ¿Fung Wah Bus? , which is ¿Fung Wah Bus? . Jason Rule began recording his solo work last year under the name Breathe For The Treetops. Since then, he has undergone some serious shifts in influence and sound. Recently, (and by recently I mean like yesterday) he recorded a new album, which indicates that he has been heavily influenced by such artists as Andrew Jackson Jihad, The Wingnut Dishwashers Union, and ¿Fung Wah Bus? . This album was recorded as a series of voice memos on his iPod, while he sat outside H&R Block. Doesn't get much more excellent than that. Jason Rule is known far and wide as a loving, creative, spectacular human being. Also he is living in the shadow of a mighty hedgehog. And Mike and Kevin love him very much. As does Scott! Shannon too. But mostly Mike and Kevin. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
