Artist
J.M. Baccus is the pseudonym of Dutch songwriter and singer, Michiel Bakker (1996), originally from the small town of 's-Gravenpolder in the province of Zeeland, but now based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. His music is a dark, acoustic type of poetic folk, reminiscent of the work of Leonard Cohen and a Dutch-language kindred spirit like Alex Roeka. Following an EP entitled Zes liedjes (2023), as well as some singles, his debut full-length, Fragmenten van de Achtste Dag, came out in May 2025.
