Cape Sleep is the band of Utrecht, The Netherlands-based musician, singer and songwriter, Kim Janssen. Their first single, 'Telephone', came out in October 2023, followed by début album Video Days in February 2024. In the past, Janssen played in The Black Atlantic and he also released three albums under his own name (see: Kim Janssen). Yet, he always wanted to be in his own band. Cape Sleep is that band, featuring a soft mattress of synths, Janssen's sprawling guitar sounds and bass lines added by Marien Dorleijn of Moss.
