Born and raised in Tucson, AZ. Started making music at 13 or 14ish (1998-1999ish). Was always an artist and creative mind. Type of personality people gravitate towards and feel commonalities with. Habeas's music doesn't always fit the usual hip hop guidelines. He's constantly progressing and getting better with each song. Instead of fitting in the regular hip hop guidlines he is writing his own guidelines, which are very broad and not constricted. Even though he derives from the southwest part of the United States his style is usually attractive to the eastcoast hip hoppers ear more the westcoast or dirty south. If he had to answer why this is it's probably becuase that's where most of his inspiration came from. Although he listens to a wide range of music and hip hop sub genres Habeas's sound can be very underground and raw sometimes too hip hop for the new generation of hip hop fans.
