Bacchanal is a power rock trio from Santa Fe New Mexico. Comprised of Joe Liberty (vocals and bass), Richard Christner (Guitars) and Andy Primm (drums) Bacchanal's music is a mix of Rock, Funk and Blues. The self titled CD Bacchanal was released in August of 2009. The twelve original song CD is a unique blend of styles and influences that range from Eric Clapton to Lenny Kravitz and more. JOE LIBERTY (Bass and Vocals) Joe started playing bass while in college and later moved to NYC to study painting. While in New York Joe helped to start a band called the Clintons that became popular and opened for major acts such as Johnny Thunder, The Cult and Eric Burden to name a few. When the Clintons broke up Joe joined Christy Rose and The Midnight Walkers, which toured Scandinavia and Europe a number of times. Joe moved to Austin Texas playing music off and on while raising two daughters. Joe now lives in Santa Fe New Mexico where he started Bacchanal in 2009. Andy Primm (Drums) Andy is a performance and recording veteran, having toured nationally with the Gluey Brothers, Jono Manson, Mobius Trip, and more, and internationally with corporate show band the Pink Flamingos. He has also released his own CD of original songs entitled "Mercenary" and has played hundreds of shows fronting his own band.
