Gerhardt is Gerhardt Heusinkveld, a blues/rock singer/songwriter, guitar player and keyboardist from The Netherlands. Gerhardt may also be regarded as the name of his band. October 2012 will see the release of Gerhardt's full-length début album Sprawlers. Its 'sister album', Crawlers, is set for a 2013 release. The two albums follow Gerhardt's début release, the 2011 mini-album, A Brand New Heart, which Heusinkveld recorded with the help of members of Belgian rock band Triggerfinger (on guitars and drums). The single, A Brand New Heart, won Gerhardt a 'Serious Talent' title from Dutch national radio station 3FM. Gerhardt Heusinkveld is also member of the soul and country band Beans & Fatback.
