Vanterra lives in Christchurch, New Zealand, and is the founder of the independent label Vanterra Arts. Fred is known for blending expressive classical compositions with experimental electronic music. His notable works include the orchestral album Mythanien (2019), which explores a fictional world through deeply emotive, cinematic soundscapes, and Waikiki Synth (2024), a synth-heavy album showcasing his versatility across musical genres.
