Frederik Schrader (*15.08.1985 in Seeheim-Jugenheim, Germany) is a german composer, musician, Germanist and member of the band Minorcracy. Life Frederik Schrader was born on August 15, 1985 in Seeheim-Jugenheim near Darmstadt in the german state of Hesse. He is the second child of the German air force officer Manfred Schrader and the Montessori-eduacationist Marianne Schrader (maiden name Wiemken). The maternal family tree can be traced back to the Frisian chieftain Edo Wiemken, whose tomb can be visitied in the Evangelist city church of Jever. Education Frederik Schrader went to the "Graf Friedrich-school" in Diepholz, the"Elsa-Brändström-school" in Elmshorn and gained his qualify for university entrance in 2004. From 2005 until 2010 Frederik Schrader studied German philology, economic and social psychology and philosophy at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen. Musical career After early childhood experiments with drums and keyboard, Frederik Schrader received his first piano when he was nine. Parallel to his classical piano studies, Frederik Schrader taught himself the drums again, the harmonica, acoustic and electric guitars, the cajon, the cello, the accordion and the harp. Beginning in elementary school, Frederik Schrader began with the production of his own music and tried to inspire classmates and friends for joint band projects.
