Enfants (French for "children") is a Japanese four-piece alternative rock band from Tokyo. Members: ** Vocals & Guitar: 松本大 (Dai Matsumoto; born on July 9th 1992 in Nagasaki; ex Lamp in terren) ** Bass: 中原健仁 (Kento Nakahara; born on December 14th 1992 in Nagasaki; ex Lamp in terren) ** Guitar: 大屋真太郎 (Oya Shintaro; ex Lamp in terren) ** Drums: 伊藤嵩 (Takashi Ito; also in notbicycle, support for Couple) History: April 2022 marked the start of their live performances, driven by the themes of "play" and “adorn”. When Dai Matsumoto made music with Lamp in terren, he had a strong perception that 'it's music for someone', so he tried to hide the immoral parts as much as possible, but when Kawaguchi, the drummer, quit the band, he decided to tell his own story rather than making music. That's why he started Enfants. The track “Play” from their first EP “Q”, released in April 2023, caught fire on social media after being introduced by several prominent Japanese musicians. Buzz spread organically, and by January 2024, it was selected in the "Top 10 of 2023” segment of a popular Japanese music program, pushing them into the national viral charts. Enfants perform tirelessly across Japan's live house circuit. Internationally, they performed at festivals and venues such as 'Carnival Fever' in Taichung, Taiwan, and 'THE UU MOUTH' in Taipei.
