Galileo Galilei (ガリレオガリレイ) is an indie rock band from Hokkaido, Japan. After a successful indie album, they signed onto Sony Music and released their debut single "Natsuzora (夏空)", which would be used as the opening for the anime "Ōkiku Furikabutte ~Natsu no Taikai-hen~". Afterwards they released two more singles and their debut album "Parade" (パレード) in February 2011, which peaked at number #5 on the Oricon Album Chart. They released their 4th single "Aoi Shiori (青い栞)" as the opening for anime "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai" and also released a single "Sayonara Frontier" for "Arakawa Under The Bridge". After being a supporting member since March 2011, Noguchi Kazumasa officially joined the band on 13 December 2011. Their 6th single called "Asu E" (明日へ) also made an appearance on "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE" as the first opening. They released their second album "Portal" on January 2012. On September 2012 Iwai Fumito and Noguchi Kazumasa decided to leave the band to pursue their own musical careers. Shortly after, the band released the EP "Baby, It's Cold Outside" at the end of October 2012 with the remaining three members. They released their 7th single "Circle Game" (サークルゲーム) which was produced for the "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai" movie. The band's third album "ALARMS" was released on October 2013 with POP ETC (known in the past as The Morning Benders) as their producer. On January 25, 2016, two days before the release
