a flood of circle (ア フラッド オブ サークル) is a Japanese alternative rock band from Tokyo/Shimokitazawa which formed in 2006. Members: Vocals & Guitar: 佐々木亮介 (Ryousuke Sasaki; since 2006) Guitar: アオキテツ (Tetsu Aoki; support since 2016, member since 2018) Bass: Guitar: HISAYO (since 2010) Drums: 渡邊一丘 (Kazutaka Watanabe; since 2006) Ex members: Guitar: 岡庭匡志 (Masashi Okaniwa;from 2006 to 2009) Bass: 石井康崇 (Yasutaka Ishii; from 2006 to 2010) Guitar: Duran (from 2014 to 2015) History: The band was formed in 2006 in Shimokitazawa by vocalist and guitarist Ryosuke Sasaki and drummer Kazutaka Watanabe. Since 2018, the lineup has consisted of co-founders Sasaki and Watanabe, bassist Hisayo, and guitarist Tetsu Aoki. The band's sound mixes blues and rock and roll, and is easily identified by Sasaki's powerful vocals. a flood of circle is often called "AFOC" or "フラッド" (furaddo/"flood"). In 2007, they released their self-titled first mini-album on July 11. The band released the single "Buffalo Dance/Thunderbolt" only at Tower Records stores on March 4, 2009.
