Emily A. Saaen is a singer from Russia. She has been the voice for Íon, Aeolight, Altera Forma and Canonis, among countless others. She appeared on the Russian gothic compilations "Russian Existence: A Tribute to Project Pitchfork", "Colours of Black" and "Colours of Black II". Her debut solo album "Ioloya: First-Born", released in 2004, is an atmospheric combination of ethereal and ethno music. Her most recent album, "Soulmates", was released in 2007, featuring Steve Rothery (Marillion), Duncan Patterson (Íon, ex-Antimatter. ex-Anathema), Mark Kelson (The Eternal), Timo Tolkki (Stratovarius), Pavel Gromov (Antisisters), Axel Machens (Breathe), Harry Noctifer (Mors in tabula), Marea Internum, Robin Shepperson, and many more.
