Mothburner

Mothburner were a Cornish band active from 1995-2006/7. They played, "a new take on that tear-drenched thing we call blues". Imagine if P J Harvey, Mazzy Star, Queen Adreena, Hole, the Jesus & Mary Chain, the White Stripes, and the Cocteau Twins were shut away in a Cornish cave with only some floaty Mediaeval dresses and some glitter spray for amusement. Mothburner might be the result. Two people, a guitar, and a drum machine. It's all very simple and raw. They love the ocean, the night sky, boats, and wild places. They have recorded an album's worth of material, all live and very lo-fi, entitled "Embrocations For Losses Past", and an EP, "Fading Shores". Now they need a label for them.
