The Dynamis Ensemble was founded in 1999 in Milan by musicians who share a common passion for modern and contemporary music. It realizes projects which see the interaction of music, the arts, and new technologies; it promotes contemporary creation and has premiered several new works. The Dynamis Ensemble collaborates with artists and institutions of international renown, like Jonathan Harvey, Armand Angster, Carlo Chiarappa, GRAME of Lyon and IRMUS of Milan. It is regularly invited to perform in festivals and venues, like Milano Musica, Aspekte (Salzburg), Mostra Sonora (Sueca, Spain), Forum Neue Musik (Luzern), Festival Internacional Cervantino (Guanajuato, Mexico), International Forum of Cultures UNESCO (Monterrey, Mexico), Opera of Lyon, Foro Internacional de Musica Nueva (Mexico City), Italian Institute of Culture (Amsterdam), Mantova Musica Contemporanea, Festival Antidogma (Turin), Casa della Musica (Parma). The Dynamis Ensemble recorded two monographic CDs dedicated to the music of Jonathan Harvey and Javier Torres Maldonado.
