Douglas Léon (born 1975), is a Swedish rapper best known under his stage name Dogge Doggelito. He grew up in Alby, a suburb in Botkyrka south-west of Stockholm, to a Venezuelan father and Swedish mother. Dogge started to rap in 1983 and he participated in many rap contests, including winning third place in Rap SM with his group The Latin Kings, in which he was the lead rapper. Many of his lyrics promote anti-racism and deal with growing up in the suburbs. The Latin Kings were, along side Infinite Mass and Looptroop Rockers, one of the more important groups that has emerged from the Swedish hip hop scene and help shape it in the early 80 and 90s. Today he is working on music and also in the book and TV business. He also played for the soccer team Allstars BK against the Swedish World Cup team of 1994.
