Ison & Fille is a swedish hip-hop duo consisting of Ison Glasgow and Felipe Leiva Wenger (aka Lilla Al-Fadji). Ison (born 1980) grew up in the US and immigrated to Sweden in 1986, whilst Fille (born 1980) comes from Chile and grew up in Vårberg. He immigrated to Sweden in 1985 with his parents and two other siblings. The two met in 1994 in JKS basketball club in Bredäng, Sweden. Their rap career began at a youth farm in Skärholmen, where they both wrote songs. Their first song ever was released on the compilation album Den Svenska Underjorden (trans: The Swedish Underground). They got a spot through Fille's brother Sabo who had contact with the Swedish rap legends The Latin Kings. Their first real hit, När vi glider, was played on Swedish television in 2001 which garnered media attention. Since then the duo has released seven albums. They have appeared on multiple Swedish TV shows and series, such as Leende guldbruna ögon, Sverige dansar och ler, X Factor, and När hiphop tog över. Fille and his brother Sabo also run the hip hop musical project Grillat & Grändy with occasional collaborations with Ison. In 2015, Grillat & Grändy released the album Kör vi tills att dör vi. The album charted on Sverigetopplistan, the official Swedish albums chart. They are also part of the rap group Highwon.
