Stuck somewhere in a lay-by, Broken Down Lorry's only working function is a radio that churns out sporadic homemade songs from the cabin. Johny Nocash sits and strums his guitar. Sometimes Bertram Bones chips in. Outside the cabin, a brambling picks at seeds from underneath the quince tree, and blackberries ripen in preparation for a Nocash home-made crumble. Broken Down Lorry want people to share in the pleasure they gain making music. They like to give their music away. Sometimes it takes longer - to get more people to hear it, sometimes the lorry have to use co-operative labels. Rest assured, Broken Down Lorry make no money out of sales of their recordings. Not that that would be a surprise, hey? On this site you have our entire back catalogue, pretty much, for download. There's only one single missing - you can get that at the Cloudberry site.
