Bodyhost formed in the summer of 2005 when guitarists Andy Stewart and Josh Penfold, bassist Krys Bascombe and drummer Simon 'Box' Hudson began making music together in the hope of soon finding a vocalist. After trying a few people out, Tom Brittle was recommended to them and it was instantly clear that he was the right man for the job. Bodyhost became a five-piece full line-up rock band. Bodyhost played its first gig at The Railway Inn, Winchester in January 2006 and received an enthusiastic response from those present. Since then been playing in local Battles Of The Bands (winners in Andover, Winchester runners-up), showcase nights, acoustic nights & even having their own headlining show. Bodyhost have been gigging and displaying their raw and energetic live sound regularly across the south in 2006.
