Noisome Paste, a band from Germany, started way back in 2001 when Julius and Malte put up some rehearsals playing songs they had written. It was then when Heiko made them a bunch. After early public acceptance through their first live performances Noisome Paste decided to keep complete control of all creative matters refusing to sign with a label. In 2004 it was about time to get things done. After 6 weeks of intense work at studio 'soundlodge' (Rhauderfehn, Germany) their first album "Fragmentation" was recorded and released in September that same year. With nearly 800 copies sold, by sales after live shows and word-of-mouth recommendation only, during the following two years Noisome Paste outdid their own expectations. Months later in 2006 Noisome Paste's line-up changed. Ayke joint the band bringing along the right attitude and experience. With him aboard the band got back to work and started writing new material. Owing to their remarkable success with "Fragmentation" the four band members decided not to rush the process of creativity so they spent nearly 14 months writing, rehearsing and recording in their spare time. So finally it's done: Noisome Paste's new EP "Day in June" is out now and sure to top all they have done so far!
