There are two bands with the name Beats Working The first is a 4 piece guitar orientated rock band from the UK, led by guitarist/songwriter John Hardman. John's career stretches back a long way. Starting out in the mid seventies with rock/pop band Sunfighter on EMI, being the main songwriter and guitarist for that band, his career has also led him to write and produce work for many other bands/projects and work with a number of major producers such as Roy Thomas Baker, Gus Dudgeon and Chris Rainbow. In 1986 John formed Beats Working as a vehicle for the many songs he has written. Beats Working have so far made 9 albums, a compilation singles album and an EP 'No More Tomorrows' released in 2007. Their full album "Calm" has been receiving great reviews from music press all over the world. Their music has been likened in influence to various other well known rock and progressive rock bands, but is definitely their own special Beats Working sound - a special blend of song based rock that is gradually achieving critical acclaim everywhere.
