This albumn is a devotional suite to Winter. Starting with 'Winter Song' the songs as always with the duo are well written and performed. Their songs are complimented with church organ led chants on this release such as 'Salvatori Mundi'. Indeed across this album there is a Medieval Christian theme in the arrangements and songs. On song such as 'Praise We The Father' there is more of a nod to folk-rock where as on others such as 'Father's Carol' there is a lullaby quality. There are still the softer acoustic songs the duo are known for though such as on 'I Am The Child'. Although themed as a Winter suite, the album will be enjoyable at any time.
