This album contains a series of self-written songs that show a great affinity for our land and history. Their sound is as an acoustic duo but with excellent arrangements, added instruments and effects. The opener 'Time Passes By' reminds for example of Magna Carta in its melody and guitars also having both pipes and sea effects. Also on the album are instrumental carols in the original Medieval dance style played on reeds and whistles such as 'Woodland Carol'. The band can write excellent melodies such as the gypsy themed 'Painted Wagon'. 'The Other Side' has a choir made from their voices and reminds of Duncan Browne's work. 'Get Real' introduces electric guitar and a swaying, almost folk-rock emphasis. 'Spinning Through The Corn' varies the sound with bass and piano rather than guitar. 'The Green Mind' ends the album with Celtic harp, a chamber arrangement and spoken word. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
