"Rain Down The Fire" was Stratus' second album project. (The first was 'You Gotta Live..." in 1986) Recorded at Evan Williams Recording in Santa Ana, CA in 1988, It has more of a alternative rock sound than the earlier project. Due to many members leaving to persue other careers and family, it was to remain unfinished until BJ Herrera (guitarist/singer/songwriter) was able to secure the necessary vintage equipment needed to remix and remaster the tracks to .MP3 files in 2004. Demo and live concert tracks have been added to make a complete album offering as was originally intended.
