Album
Also known as "Hitler", Love Everyone was planned to be Kanye West's 8th studio album. He began working on new material not long after leaving UCLA Medical Hospital in November of 2016, but it wasn't until 2018, after Ye purchased a ranch in Wyoming to devote more time to developing albums for himself and his collaborators, that it began to take shape. He released Lift Yourself and Ye vs. the People (starring TI as the People) as singles, the former of which was slated to appear on the album at some point. However, following a rant given by Kanye at the TMZ office, he made the decision to start the project over on May 21st, according to collaborator Malik Yusef, because "he felt (it) was not a good representation of the new more enlightened version of him." Eleven days later on June 1st, Kanye officially released his 8th studio album ye. Many tracks conceived for this project were retooled for ye, or for one of the four other albums Kanye was executive producing in Wyoming. XTCY, a song that appeared on multiple known considered tracklists up until ye's release, was released as a single in August of the same year. Many tracks remain unreleased, though demos of some of these have surfaced online. The known tracks developed for the project covered a variety of topics, such as Kanye's political views and personal introspection.
