Album
Gothic & Metal internet site October 2001 Cirrha Niva came up with the idea to create a concept album and piece-by-piece the jigsaw got formed. The story is about an old man who wants to be reunited with his deceased wife and is brought to us with much dramatics. While listening to ‘Liaison de la Morte’ we pass a lot of musical styles like: progressive metal, symphonic metal, jazz, classical music, gothic and many, many more. All these styles are perfectly sewed together and they match one style: Cirrha Niva’s style. But not only on the musical horizon Cirrha Niva is different, the vocals are also quite different. Arnold Kloek performs the old man in a very convincing way and Liselotte Hegt plays her part with much verve and conviction. The result is an album on with Cirrha Niva can be very proud. This band with international pretensions is responsible for the best Dutch product of the last year. I can’t think of any other band that could outnumber ‘Liaison de la Morte’. And if you, by any chance, have the opportunity to see them live: don’t miss it. The band is doing everything to create the perfect sphere for the audience, that includes video images, décor, costumes and many more. One big bow for Cirrha Niva!
