On their new album (release mid 2009) Dutch progressive metal band CIRRHA NIVA blend their own unique sound of metal into a visionary post modern rock & metal album. The band combines classic rock vocals with screams and grunts surrounded by technical thrash riffs, groovy rhythms and melodic guitar solo’s. During 2008 the album has been produced under the excellent guidance of producers Jochem Jacobs and Bouke Visser at Split Second Sound Studio (a.o. Textures, Autumn, Stream Of Passion). The album now completely finished and ready for release, has a total running time of 46:37. Song titles are; ‘The Fooling’, ‘Golan Heights’, ‘Dreamon’, ‘Self Chosen’, ‘Spring before Winter’, ‘Framed’, ‘Running from the source’. BRIEF HISTORY In 2001 CIRRHA NIVA self produced the theatrical rock opera production 'Liaison de la Morte'. With this visual outstanding live production the band gained a cult status in the metal and gothic underground scene. The same named album was distributed by Suburban (EU), & The End Records (USA). CIRRHA NIVA also supported well know bands like Lacuna Coil (IT), Evergrey (SW), Pain of Salvation (SW), Planet X (USA) and Skyclad (UK), during their tours in the Benelux.
