Headstrong is the debut album by the American actress and singer Ashley Tisdale. The album was released on February 6, 2007 in the United States via Warner Bros. Records, debuting at #5 on the Billboard 200 and selling 64,000 copies in the first week. The album was certified Gold in the U.S. with 500,000 copies shipped. The album has sold more than 1.000,000 copies worldwide. The album contains Pop and R&B music influences. The album was recorded during fall 2006 at different studios like Decoy Studios, Chalice Studios, Rocket Carousel Studios and others. Tisdale co-wrote four songs for the album: "Not Like That", "Suddenly", "Over It" and the bonus track "It's Life". She recorded cover songs by artist Tata Young ("Don't Touch" - originally title "Zoom"), Sandy Molling ("Goin' Crazy" - originally title "All Eyes on You") and Sarah Hudson ("Unlove You").
