Symptoms is the third studio album by American pop singer and actress Ashley Tisdale released May 3, 2019 digitally via Big Noise Music Group. Symptoms follows Tisdale's second studio album, Guilty Pleasure, marking 10 years since her previous full studio release. The lead single from the album, "Voices In My Head", was released November 9, 2018, while the second single, "Love Me & Let Me Go", was released January 25, 2019. The album's themes and sound are remarkably different from her previous albums, swapping her dance-pop and pop-rock sound for a more laid back pop sound. Symptoms chronicles Tisdale's silent battle with depression and anxiety, while employing implicit lyrics to give the songs multiple meanings. It is Ashley’s first album to contain songs with explicit and profane lyrics. Due to not having any physical release, the album failed to enter the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming her first album not to do so. It instead reached #22 on the US Billboard Independent Albums chart. Symptoms also charted internationally in France and the UK due to digital downloads.
